Gosh, you've been through a lot. I must confess, I have never once in my life wanted to bake bread from scratch. lol. I admire those who do, though. One of my earliest memories is that smell of freshly baked buns coming from my grandmother's kitchen. There's nothing like that aroma of freshly baked bread.
I didn't think I was a bread making person until my sons turned me on to it. It became like therapy during the pandemic and is once again filling that role during our crazy political times.
This actually solved a problem I was having today with perfectionism—lean into the process! The painting is divine, you did get perfect shade of indigo. And I want to eat a slice of your bread immediately.
